Install
Paste a prompt into your agent, or install the Webly skill yourself.
Paste this into your agent
Works in any agent: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, the Claude or ChatGPT app, Grok, Muse. The agent tells Webly what it can do, and Webly answers with the way to connect that fits. Signed in? Copy it from Connect agent instead: that copy carries a code that tells Webly it's you.
Set up Webly so you can publish websites and share files and folders for me.
First tell me the first-time setup takes a couple of minutes, then keep me posted as you go.
Open https://api.pr-295.playbase.ai/connect?agent=<your name>&os=<mac|windows|linux|ios|android|web>&can=<what you can do: shell, browser, connectors, secrets> and follow what it says.
Can't open links? Run npx skills add Webly-AI/webly-plugin --skill webly -g -y and use the webly skill.Phone and chat apps
Some agents can't run commands or open a sign-in page on your computer. Use the first of these your app supports:
- Its own connector screen (the Claude app, ChatGPT, Grok, Perplexity, Le Chat, Poke): add a custom connector with
https://api.pr-295.playbase.ai/v1/mcp, then sign in to Webly and click Allow when the app asks. - Only an API key (Muse, Cline, hosted bots): in the dashboard, open Connect agent, copy the prompt and paste it into your app. The agent tells Webly it can only take a key, and because the prompt's code proves it's you, it gets its own key right away, once (owners and admins only). The window shows it connected, with Revoke if that wasn't you. The key lasts 30 days, can only reach the site you opened it on (or your whole workspace from the sidebar), and should live in the app's secure credentials, not the chat. You can turn it off any time under Settings → API keys.
- Can't open links or run commands at all: make a key yourself under Settings → API keys and add it to the app's secure credentials as a connector: server
https://api.pr-295.playbase.ai/v1/mcp, headerAuthorization: Bearer <key>. Never paste it into the chat.
Or install it yourself

Claude Code plugin
Adds MCP and a session hook:
/plugin marketplace add Webly-AI/webly-plugin
/plugin install webly@weblyDon't see the Webly tools?
If Claude Code doesn't show the Webly tools or doesn't recognize Webly, run /reload-plugins. Still missing? Exit and run claude --continue. It reopens the same conversation with the plugin loaded.
Installed once, it stays for every new session and every folder. Anything the agent needs to pick up later is saved on your computer, so starting over or clearing the chat never loses your site.
